Adenoviruses are dsDNA viruses of clinical and therapeutic significance. Characterization of fundamental biology of adenoviruses is critical to assess any outbreaks clinically as well as to generate recombinant adenoviral vector system for therapeutic purposes. Therefore, I work on unraveling the basic adenovirus host entry mechanism to increase the comprehension of its biology.
